The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has released the online application for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025. The application period will start on 28th August 2024, and the last date for submitting applications will be 3rd October 2024. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have completed or be appearing for the following degrees:
- B.E. / B.Tech / B.Pharm / B.Arch / B.Sc. (Research) / B.S. / M.Sc. / M.A. / MCA / M.E. / M.Tech / Dual Degree / Integrated Courses.

Document Specifications
- Photo Requirements: A recent passport-sized colored photograph with a white background. The face should occupy at least 75% of the photo.
- Thumb Impression: Place your left thumb impression in a rectangular box (3 cm x 5 cm) on an A4-sized paper.
- Signature: Sign within a rectangular box (2 cm x 7 cm) using a black/blue pen in running handwriting.
How to Apply for GATE 2025
The online application process for GATE 2025 is open from 28th August 2024 to 3rd October 2024. Candidates should ensure they read the official notification before applying. All necessary documents (e.g., handwriting sample, eligibility proof, ID proof, etc.) must be gathered and scanned.
